Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERTHE THERRIEN (nee BOISJOLI) January 20, 1923 July 14, 2011 On July 14, 2011, Berthe Therrien embarked on her final journey after many journeys around the world throughout her lifetime. Her sense of adventure, independence and generosity were inspirational to those who knew her well. She will be missed by her children, Raymond (Chris), Suzanne (Frank Richards) and René (Karla); her grandchildren, Ray Vermette (Dawn) and Nikki-Jean Therrien; Alix, France and Brennan Richards; and Samantha and Dominic Therrien; and her great-grandchildren, Codi Therrien and Lana-Rae Vermette. She will be remembered as well by her sisters Dolores Boisjoli and Jeanne Campbell (Ralph) and her brother Maurice, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews. Berthe enjoyed a long career looking after others and was a keen environmentalist, long before it was trendy. She was also a naturalist at heart, spending many years camping and later on, enjoying the cottage with her family by her side. Her strong faith helped her find peace when she decided it was time to embark on this last journey. The family would like to thank all the staff on 5ABC at Taché Centre we cannot express how much we appreciated your care and your compassion. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10 - 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9.
