REBECCA DAVIES CLANCEY Rebecca Clancey of Winnipeg passed away at Lions Manor on July 15, 2011. Born April 6, 1924 in Winnipeg. She went to Brooklands School, graduated from Cecil Rhodes and worked at Raleigh's afterwards. She married Wilmer Clancey in 1954 and lived in Neepawa for 40 years until Wilmer's passing in 1995 and then moved back to Winnipeg. Jim was born in 1955. She was a Jehovah's Witness her entire life. She also enjoyed liquid and hand embroidery. She lost her sight in the last ten years and moved into Lion's Manor as she needed assisted living. She was predeceased by her parents William and Victoria Nelson; daughter-in-law Jeanine Clancey; her sister and brother-in-law Betty and Edward Wallace. She is survived by son Tim (Carol Bulloch); brother Art Nelson; sister Ruth Kozack; niece Barb (Horst) Willer, Stephanie and Kaitlyn; also Lois (John) Hardman, Sharon (Don) Schaan and Sandy (Len) Apperley. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Neepawa Kingdom Hall with John Hardman officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment will follow in Neepawa Cemetery alongside her husband. White's Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
