Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALFRED BERARD 1926 - 2011 Fred left this world peacefully Thursday, July 14, 2011. He leaves to mourn his passing six children: David, Danny, Joanne, Landaira, Mary-Anne, Marc and his close friend Brenda. Fred is survived by his siblings, Yvonne Allan, Beatrice Beauchemin, Joe Berard, Adrien Berard, Lorraine Raymond and their little sister' Patricia Pelletier. He is survived by his first wife Helen, numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by his second wife Cassandra in 1990. Fred was born in 1926 in Grande Pointe, MB. to Gregoire and Bernadette Berard (nee Bousquet), the 5th oldest of 16 children. Fred had several different careers throughout his life before earning his Power Engineer designation. He was stationed out of Sheffield, AB during the Second World War. He loved to play sports with his children and to dance and play cards at family gatherings. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home followed by interment. Public viewing will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Beloved, Pray without ceasing. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
