Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHENRY (HANK) KOLTHOF November 30, 1931 July 18, 2011 Peacefully on Monday, July 18, 2011, surrounded by his loved ones, our dear husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend passed away at the Deer Lodge Centre. Left to celebrate his life is his wife of 56 years, Lorraine, his children, Bruce (Nancy), Cathy (Kelly), Ken (Sherry), Brian (Melanie), Donna (Doug), his grandchildren, Joshua (Nicole), Naomi (Matthew), Trevor, Michele, Adam (Crystal), Justin, Hailey, Kristin, Shane, Ethan, his great-grandchildren, Zachariah, Malachi, Mila and mother-in-law, Elizabeth Buchler. Henry also leaves brother, John and sister, Anne (Peter) and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Annaheim, father-in-law, William Buchler and infant son, Wayne. Hank immigrated to Canada from the Netherlands in 1950. He worked for the City of Winnipeg for 15 years and then at Perth's Dry Cleaners for over 35 years. He loved his garden and being with family and friends. Dad will be greatly missed by all of us, especially his stubborn ways, great sense of humour and friendly smiles! We love you dear Dad. May you rest in peace until we meet again. We would like to thank Dr. Sheldon Permack for caring for Dad over the years and to Pastor Ed Mitchler for his spiritual guidance. Also, thank you to the staff at Deer Lodge Centre on floor T3 for their compassion and kindness shown to him during his stay. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations can be made to Epiphany Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or to the Alzheimer's Society. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2011, at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd, with Pastor Leon Gilbertson officiating.
