MAUREEN MARGARET DREGER With her family at her side on Monday, July 18, 2011 Maureen Dreger of Winnipeg and formerly of St. Laurent, passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg. Survived by her five children and grand-children Adam (Jamie), Brandon, Alexander, Kaylee; Shane (Laurie), Ryan, Paul, Shyla; Sheena (Dante), Noah; Justin (Stephanie); Shannon. She is also survived by her six brothers Frank (Zelma), Wayne (Shirley), Lloyd (Eileen), Walter (Christine), Nick (Hazel), Gerald (Karmel) and one sister Paulette Bricklin, many cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her mother Margaret and father Eugene Desjarlais, brother Ron Desjarlais, brother-in-law Jim Bricklin, nephews Kirk, Gordon and J.J., and twin daughters Jeanette and Janine. Mom was a selfless person who put others before herself. She fought the battle of cancer until the end. Prayers will be said at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 22 at St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church, followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow the service. Pallbearers will be her six brothers and her nephew Keith will be an honourary pallbearer. The family would like to thank Darlene Carriere for spending so many nights at the hospital with my Mom.
