DOUGLAS (DOUG) TERRENCE DONALD MUTUAL 1955 - 2011 It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Douglas (Doug / DT) Mutual, formerly of Medika, MB on July 16, 2011. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Patricia (Patty); his daughter Christina (Russell Yorke), and son Trevor (Chantal Lambert); as well as his mother-in-law Patricia (Pat) Morton; his brother Lawrence (Barb) Mutual; his sister Bev (Don) Meseman; sisters- in-law Roberta (Garry) Merke, Cathy (Bill) Litchfield, April Morton (Francois Salmon); brothers-in-law James (Denise) Morton and Darcy (Kim) Morton; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. Doug was predeceased by his parents William and Nettie (Anastasia) Mutual and father-in-law Bob Morton. Born July 10, 1955, Doug grew up in Medika, MB but later moved to Winnipeg to attend Red River College. He lived a full life that revolved around his family and friends. He spent 34 years working diligently for the Royal Bank of Canada. He was often found in his favourite place in front of the fire in the backyard, with music playing and man's best friend on his lap. A wonderful husband, father, brother and friend, he'll be greatly missed. A very special thank you to Roberta, Bill, Brent, Michael, and James who valiantly and tirelessly assisted the E.M.S. team, along with Cathy, Garry, Russ, Tanya, Meghan and Denise for their loving support. The family would like to thank the Canora / Yorkton E.M.S. and R.C.M.P. for all their help and compassion during our time of sorrow. A memorial service celebrating Doug's life will be held Saturday, July 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Hwy., Winnipeg. A private family interment at Victoria Cemetery will follow. In memory of Doug, donations may be made to either the Winnipeg Humane Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
