ARTHUR SCHULZ Surrounded by his family on Monday, July 18, 2011, at Riverview Health Centre, Arthur Schulz died at the age of 87 years. He is survived by his children Betty (Ted), Gary (Lorna), Margret (Michael), Dietmar (Hannelore), Sieghardt (Penny) and Heidi (Ron); grandchildren Andrea, Stefan, Ryan, Micaela (Jeremy), Stephanie, Sherry, Kristy (Martin), Jennifer (Paul), Courtney and Stephanie. Also his siblings, Lydia, Frieda (Emil), Hertha, Adele, Emil (Gerda) and many other relatives and friends. Arthur was predeceased by wife Frieda; children Friedel and Ingrid; also wife Christel, and sister Ida. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 22 at 10:30 a.m. at McDermot Avenue Baptist Church, 821 McDermot Avenue with interment in Brookside Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday, 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Teach Beyond (formerly Janz Team) available at the service. The family thanks the staff of Riverview, CancerCare, Health Sciences Centre, Palliative and Home Care for the care given to Arthur.
