DELORA (JOY) GILLETA (nee ROSSIN) It is with great sadness that the family of Joy Gilleta announces her passing on July 16, 2011 in Victora, BC. Born January 26, 1932 in Lamont, AB, the family moved to Manitoba during her high school years, where she later met and married Stanley. It was here that she raised her family of four children. Joy worked several years for Eaton's: volunteered as a Cub Scout leader; a Sunday School teacher at St. Savior's; an active member of the altar guild with St. Michael and All Angels Church; and held an Executive position with the Lion(ells) in Winnipeg. Joy and Stanley moved to Victoria in 2006 to enjoy some years with her West Coast family. Lovingly remembered by her husband Stanley, children: Lillian (Jim), Irene (Frank), Richard (Melanie), Sharon (Brian), her brother Clifford Rossin, sister-in-law Herma. Also, by her precious grandchildren: Jeffrey, Laura, David, and Sean; many nieces, nephews, dear family members and friends, and special kindred spirit Vera Rossin. Predeceased by parents: Walter Rossin, Margarette and George Clarke, brothers Clarence and Jim Rossin. A family service has taken place, with interment at the First Memorial Royal Oak Gardens in Victoria, BC.
