NORAH MAY PRIMMER (nee JAMES) (BARRETT) August 5, 1913 - April 28, 2011 In her 98th year, Norah passed away at Grace Hospital. She was predeceased by her husbands, Tony Barrett and Lloyd Primmer; her sister Edith; her sister-in-law, Kathleen Barrett and her son-in-law, Percy Keillor. Norah leaves behind her children Joyce (Tony); Jim (Sandy); May (Vern); Margaret (predeceased by Percy); Dan (Judy) and Marsha (Baldwin). She will be missed by her grandchildren, all 15 of them and eight great- grandchildren. As well, she will be missed by her adopted daughters Faye and Sharon. Norah's family wishes to thank her many caregivers, including the nurses and doctors at Concordia and at Grace Hospital as well as friends and neighbours for their good wishes and acts of kindness toward Norah. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favourite charity or to The Chidren's Wish Foundation. We welcome all to a celebration of Norah's very full life on July 29 at 2:30 pm at Transcona Memorial United Church, 209 Yale Ave. West. Reception will follow at the church. We invite all of Mom's family and friends to help us say our goodbyes and tell our stories.
