Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA ELLEN SIMMONS December 25, 1951 July 23, 2011 It is with profound sadness that the family of Patricia (Patty) Ellen Simmons (nee McDonald) announces her peaceful passing at the Seven Oaks Hospital with family and friends by her side. She was predeceased by her daughter Christina and parents Angus and Betty McDonald. Patty is survived by her loving husband Andy; son Tony (Jackie) and grandson Keenan of Calgary. Patty had many special qualities and talents that are too numerous to mention. One of her greatest qualities was the acceptance of everyone. Special thanks to Betty and the nurses in the Emergency Department; the Emergency Medical Services of St. Andrews; the home care staff and anyone else that was a comfort to Patty. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, August 2 at 11:00 a.m., in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk with Rev. Deborah Vitt officiating. Memory is a way of holding onto things you love, the things you are and the things you never want to lose. Thanks for the memories Mom! Dear Andy, Tony, Jackie and Keenan. We are so sorry for your loss of a great woman, that Patty. She had such pride in all of her family. She clearly loved you all so much. She was so courageous.
