Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNA KATHERINE YABLONSKI March 11, 1944 - July 23, 2011 Suddenly at her residence, surrounded by her family in the late evening of July 23, 2011, Anna went to meet her Lord. She was predeceased by her parents John and Jean Yablonski and two siblings. Anna will be forever missed by her friend Mary Andrushko; siblings Francis (John), Jack (Carol), Angela (Melvin), David (Sylvia) and numerous nieces and nephews. Anna was born in Dennis Lake, MB on March 11, 1944 and later moved to Fraserwood where she lived out her life. For 58 years Anna served the community of Fraserwood at J and J store. She loved interacting with the customers in the post office and general store. She started out as assistant post master and then served for 29 years as post master. Anna's store was the central meeting place of the community where she did much listening and offering of advice. Her vibrant personality will be greatly missed. She was an active parishioner of St. Philip Neri in Arborg. She loved being an Eucharistic minister and visited the sick and elderly. Anna's faith was unwavering and she lived her life as such. Prayers will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2011, in the St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church in Gimli, MB and Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 29, with viewing prior to, officiated by Father Paul Bisson also at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church in Gimli. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Philips Neri Church in Arborg or Precious Blood Cemetery in Fraserwood. Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli in care of arrangements. www.gilbartfuneralhome.com
