JESSIE MCPHEE It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jessie Elizabeth McPhee on Friday, July 22, 2011, at the Lions Personal Care Centre at the age of 87 years. Jessie was born on September 1, 1923. Remaining to forever cherish Jessie's memory is her sister Marguerite Holmes; daughters, Shelley Hadley (Stephen) and Patricia Herd; grandchildren, Terry, Derek, Justin and Leeann; niece Valerie McPhee (Myra Penner); best friend, Ruth Costello; as well as several nieces; nephews and family members outside of Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank McPhee; brother, Joe Mastin; parents, Martha and William Mastin. In compliance with Jessie's wishes, a private Service will be held at a later date. The family wishes to express their thanks to all the wonderful caregivers of the Lions Personal Care Centre for their kindness, support and for making mom so comfortable during her last few months. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jessie's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 2B7.
