DOROTHY JOHNSTON February 18, 1926 - July 26, 2011 With sadness we announce the passing of our Dear Mother, Dorothy Johnston (nee Thompson). She was predeceased by her husband Stanley Johnston, infant son Gabriel and three daughters Phyllis and her twins Jennifer and Jeanette. Our Mother passed on the date of what would have been our dear parents 63rd wedding anniversary. She leaves behind to mourn, her three sons, Allen, Timothy, and Terrance; and her four daughters, Kathy, Gertrude, Violet and Betty-Anne. She also leaves behind her sisters, Lena, Mary, and Bella; granddaughters, Kim, Jen, and Gerri-Lee; grandson Pierre, and numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. She will also be missed by many friends and other family members. Wake service will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Services will take place at the Kateri Parish, 785 Ellice Ave. in Winnipeg with Father Maria Sebastian officiating. Dorothy will be laid to rest at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Peguis, Manitoba following the funeral and luncheon in Winnipeg. Honourary Pallbearer will be Pierre Ducharme.
