Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETER PAUL MCCAMBRIDGE Suddenly on July 26, 2011 at St. Boniface Hospital, Paul passed away with his loving wife and family by his side. Paul was born in Strabane, Ireland on June 30, 1946 and came to Canada in 1969. Paul will be forever missed by his wife Bernadette, sons Mark and Keith (Sue), and grandchildren Lauren and Aidan, sister-in-law Anne (Blair). He is survived by his sisters May, Dympna (Bob), brothers Vincent (Marg), Ned (Mansie), and Desmond (Barb), and also nieces and nephews. Paul was very active in the community of Selkirk for 30 years involved in hockey and soccer. He served as a board member for many organizations and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. When he first came to Canada, Paul worked for Inco mine in Thompson. He then owned his own construction company for many years and went on to work for Assiniboine South School Division as a maintenance supervisor. Later in life, he enjoyed driving a school bus for the Seven Oaks School Division and also working as a manager of the Knights Center in Selkirk. It brought a smile to his face to interact with the children and the elderly. The family would like to thank the staff of both Selkirk General Hospital and St. Boniface Hospital for their kindness and care. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 30, at Notre Dame Catholic Church at 269 Jemima St. in Selkirk at 11:00 a.m. with lunch to follow.
