PETER SCHMIDT Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully on July 25, 2011. Left to cherish his memory his loving wife of 49 years, Virginia (Jeanie); his four children: Mark (Alison), Laura (Dean), Michael (Donna), Lisa (Darren) and his four grandchildren: Erin, Daniel, Zakary and Jesse. Cremation has taken place. No funeral service will be held. A Celebration of Peter's Life will be held for friends and relatives at the Clubhouse at the Twin Brooks Horizon Village, 303 Twin Brooks Drive, Edmonton, AB anytime between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2011. The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff at the University of Alberta and Misericordia Hospitals with special thanks to Dr. M. Yan and A. Nashi for their care and compassion.
