Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARCEL R. COMEAULT 1930 - 2011 Peacefully on July 26, 2011 at St. Boniface Hospital, Marcel passed into the arms of the Lord. He is survived by his best friend and loving wife, Agnes (nee Gosselin) of 60 years; his loving daughters, Yvette Comeault (Kim, Lance and Brock Marohn, Patrick and Michael Windling (Sam) of Winnipeg, Diane Sinclair (Maxwell and Meg of Oakville, ON); sons, Robert (Robbie of White Lake, BC), Marc (Austin and Dennis of Sorrento, BC), Claude (Kaitlyn and Heather of Calgary, AB); daughter-in-law Teresa Comeault (Simone Nordstrom - Steve, Tyler, Erik, Andrew, Nicole Comeault (Rob), and Ricky Comeault (Jena) of Edmonton. Predeceased by son Richard and daughter Claudette; his parents (Albert and Laura Comeault); sister Helen Dupont; and brothers, Roger and Denis Comeault. He is survived by sisters, Blanche Davis (Duncan) of Winnipeg, Madeleine Gagne (John) of Calgary, AB, Lorraine Milette of Abbotsford, BC, Euclide Comeault (Jeannette) of Winnipeg, Yvette Kreke (Wally) of Hope, BC; sister-in-law Margaret Lambert of Fort Frances, ON; and brother-in-law Henri Gosselin (Yvonne) of Golden, BC, along with many other family and friends. Marcel was born in St. Lazare, MB. He was employed by CNR for 39 years where he made many friends. Marcel had a great sense of humour and loved acting and performing with his wife in skits. They also have been Mr. and Mrs. Claus for many years for their senior friends. He was a Jack of all trades and never refused to do a favour for anyone. His greatest pleasure for his grandchildren was hiding chocolate bars in his garage telling them that was their tools. He loved all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. Marcel always had a good word to say about everyone. He loved to joke around. Marcel and Agnes were always doing things together - never apart. They enjoyed travelling when he was healthier and playing cards with their friends. Praying together holding hands was very important to them. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood Rd. on Monday, August 1 at 1:00 p.m. Viewing will take place at 12:30 p.m. Officiating is Fr. Fred Olds, concelebrating are Mgr. Maurice Comeault and Father Kevin Bettens. Pallbearers are Simone Nordstrom, Nicole Comeault, Ricky Comeault, Patrick Windling, Michael Windling and Maxwell Sinclair. A private family interment will take place on Wednesday, August 3 at 10:30 a.m. at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. We will miss you every day. Marcel's wish for everyone was Do something good and kind to each other - always remembering to forgive and respect . This was very important to him.
