Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMAURICE JEAN AUGUSTIN DURAND It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Maurice Durand on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at the Notre Dame Hospital at the age of 81 years. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Suzanne (née Tranq); six children: Gilbert (friend, Marcie), Bertrand, Fernand (Suzanne), Roméo (Martine), Léonel (Alana), Léona Devloo (George); 12 grandchildren: Jocelynne, Nicolas, Caleb, Henri, Micheline, Paul, Genelle, Nathaniel, Cody, Rhiley, Kristin and Bradley. Also left to mourn are one sister Lucienne Philippe (Emile); two brothers: Raymond (Thérèse), Gabriel (Georgette); and one sister-in-law: Val Durand. Maurice also leaves Suzanne's brother, Roland Tranq (Jeannine), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Maurice was predeceased by his parents, Auguste and Irène (née Fouasse); one brother Albert; one sister Clémence Mao (Jean); and by parents-in-law, Philibert Tranq and Clarisse (née Thorimbert). Prayers will be held at Adam's Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 3, 2011. Rosary and Video Tribute at 1:30 p.m., Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. followed by interment in the Parish Cemetery with Father Léon Mubikayi officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Notre-Dame Health Foundation (New Hospital). Adam's Funeral Home of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba in care of arrangements.
