MYRTLE REGINA EVERSON (nee CLARK) March 5, 1916 July 22, 2011 Peacefully on July 22, 2011 our beautiful mother passed away at Oakview Care Home. Mom was predeceased by her husband Engvuld and daughters Gail and Sharon. Mom will be forever missed by her surviving children Glen (Mary), Gloria (Wayne), Judith (Peter predeceased), Donald (Eileen), her grandchildren and great grandchildren. It is difficult to talk about Mom, she was such a beautiful personality. She enjoyed her children so much and was proud of their accomplishments in life. She was always talking about her granddaughters Wendy, Donna, Debbie and Carla and her great-grandchildren that she loved to see and are too numerous to mention. Mother's life was very busy, caring and giving to all her family, always listening to all our silly problems with comments trying not to offend anyone. Our mother was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on March 5, 1916. Regina is where she attended school, enjoying the arts, life and becoming an avid horsewoman. Her favourite hero was actor John Wayne because of his horsemanship and personality. Mother married in 1935 and lived a very busy life with her husband and family. A special thank you to Nathaniel at Oakview for his care and concern for our mother. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Reverend Beth Rutherford officiating. Interment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Foundation or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation Mom you will be missed, so many tears. Hold thee thy cross before my closing eyes Shine through the gloom and Point me to the skies Heaven's morning breaks And earth's vain shadows flee For life, in death, O Lord abide with me.
