GERARD DONAT BERNARDIN It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather Gérard Donat Bernardin on July 29, 2011 at the Grace Hospital. His memory will be cherished by his loving wife Diana of 58 years, his children Hélène, Aurel (Sandra), Adrien (Blanche), Luc (Joan), Marielle and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gérard was predeceased by his parents Eduoard and Délia and sister Irène and son-in-law Richard Meades. Gérard was born on February 29, 1928 in Elie, Manitoba, the fourth of 12 children. We would like to thank the staff of Golden West for the care received in the last few years and the staff at Grace Hospital for their care in his final days. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 1:30 p.m., followed by funeral mass at 2:00 p.m. at St. Charles Parish, 320 St. Charles Street in Winnipeg.
