Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGRACE WONNACOTT Grace Wonnacott passed away quietly in her sleep on July 30, 2011, at the Kildonan Personal Care Centre in Winnipeg. Born in August 11, 1917 in Nottingham, England, Grace emigrated to Canada in March 1946 as the war bride of Ted Wonnacott. Grace and Ted lived on a farm near Grand Marais for the first 10 years of their marriage; in 1956, the family moved into Grand Marais, where Grace lived until October 2003. She was post-mistress in Grand Marais from 1969 to 1982, and for many years was an active member of the W.A. at St. Jude's Anglican Church, and the Grand Marais Senior's Association. Grace is lovingly remembered by her children, Wayne (Susan) Wonnacott and Angela (Dennis) Sabada; grandchildren Lisa Daniels, Shawn Daniels, Crystal Daniels (Ryan Orvis), Tammy (Jason) Mathes, Melissa (Scott) McGregor, Ryan (Joni) Wonnacott, and Craig (Devynne) Wonnacott. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband Ted (1969), grandson Shane (2003) and daughter Jennifer (2005). The family wishes to thank the staff of the second floor of Kildonan Personal Care Centre for their loving care of Grace and the family these past six years. Funeral services will be held at St. Jude's Anglican Church, Grand Marais, on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with graveside service to follow; Reverend Judy Whitmore officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Anglican Church, or to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, in Grace's memory. Voyage Funeral Home, Winnipeg, in charge of arrangements. Cremation has taken place.
