Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHOMAS GRAHAM CROCKATT 1955 - 2011 Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Tom passed away July 28, 2011 at St Boniface hospital. He leaves his wife Linda, sons Jay and Kyle (Kyla), parents Hugh and Nancy, sister Nancy-Jo (Joe) Moller and nephew Cody, sister-in-law Edith (Ross) MacMillan, niece Jody (Travis) Yeo, nephews Jeff and Chris, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Edgar and Florence Olson. His family was the most important thing to him, and he often told them how much he loved them. Tom was born in Winnipeg April 14, 1955. He grew up on the family farm at Warren, and then Inwood. He attended school at Warren, Haland, Inwood and Teulon. He married Linda Olson September 1978. They lived in Alberta for 2 and a half years, then returned to Manitoba to start a dairy farm. His passion was cattle and he was proud to receive quality and show awards. They later switched to beef cattle. Tom had a successful career as a realtor from 2004 until his health prevented him from working. Tom volunteered on various organizations such as The Lundar Bull Sale Committee, Manitoba Holstein Association, Interlake Dairy Club, Manitoba Ostrich Association, Woodlands Hall Board, Marquette Curling Club, and was a 4-H leader. He enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, the outdoors, traveling, and any time he could get together with friends. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 2 at 2:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Honorary pallbearers are Dave Dombrosky, Lloyd Buchanan, Rob Savage, Ken Crockatt, Russ Crockatt, Dale Slagerman, Jeff Riddell, and Bruce Galbraith. The family thanks the home care staff, Dr. Kroeker, St Boniface hospital staff, and everyone who helped with providing rides, food, baking and jobs around the farm.
