JOSEPH (JOE) ZUZANSKI Peacefully on July 29, 2011, at St. Boniface Hospital, Joseph Zuzanski, beloved husband of Verla, passed away at the age of 86. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Walter. Joe leaves to mourn in passing his wife Verla, daughters Joanne (Dave), Colleen (Ashley), son Morley (Louise), and grandchildren Trevor, Danielle, Curtis, Lauren, and Alex. Joe spent three years in the Air Force and spent many years serving with the 402 Squadron Reserve. Joe became a school teacher. He taught at several different schools during his career and also spent a year-and-a-half teaching in Malaysia. Most of his time as a school teacher was spent teaching at Sisler High School, where he retired from in 1984. Joe spent many years as an active member of Legion Branch 215 and took much pride in his lifetime membership. Through the Legion he was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal. Joe enjoyed being with his family and spent many summers travelling and camping with them. Memorial service will be held Thursday, August 4, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. A private family interment will follow.
