GERALDINE (GERRY) STEWART (nee EREMCO) October 27, 1920 July 29, 2011 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Geraldine Stewart at the Scarborough Grace Hospital in Scarborough Ontario. Geraldine was predeceased by her parents Stephan and Anna Eremco, her husband Wilfred (John) Stewart, her sister Constance (Connie) Mitchell, and her brother Lawrence (Larry) Eremco. She will be forever missed by her daughter Avery Stewart, her son-in-law Wally Babenko, her grandsons, Stewart Nowosad, Gregory Nowosad, Alexander Babenko, her great-granddaughter Brooklyn Nowosad, her brother Al Renolds, her cousin Vicki Todd, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. After completing College in Winnipeg, Geraldine began her working career as a cashier at The Peoples Co-op Creamery in Winnipeg, where she met her husband. After a few years they moved to work in Ft. Churchill, Manitoba. Gerry loved Churchill and spoke of it often. After returning to Winnipeg Gerry attained a position with the Manitoba Government Department of Industry Trade and Technology, as a secretary, being promoted to Supervisor working there until she retired in 1991. In January 2009, Gerry left her Beautiful Winnipeg to live with her daughter Avery and family in Toronto. Gerry loved spending time with her daughter and grandsons. She enjoyed family gatherings, shopping, and she was an avid coin collector, spending countless hours looking through old coins and organizing her coin books. We will never lose our memory of the one we loved so much. Till we meet again. I love you Mom. Funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 4570 Yonge St. Toronto Ontario. If you wish Donations can be made to the Children's Wish Foundation in Winnipeg or Toronto.
