She is survived by her loving husband Bernie, one son Dan Heiduk of Nanaimo, B.C., and one daughter Christine Webber of Nanaimo, B.C., one granddaughter Jolene Webber of Nanaimo, B.C. Also, survived by one brother Robert Carpenter of Nanaimo, B.C., and one sister Jean Younger of Comox, B.C. Numerous nieces, nephews and her mother-in-law Jennie Trakalo of Winnipeg, Manitoba. A Memorial Service will be held at Knox United Church, 345 North Pym St., Parksville, B.C. on Friday August 5, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Foster Freed officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to B.C. Children's Hospital Foundation, 938 - West 28th Ave., Vancouver, B.C. V5Z 4H4. Yates Funeral Service 1-877-264-3848 in care of arrangements.
