Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) KLAPPRAT 1926 - 2011 With sadness, we announce the tragic passing of Billy on Sunday, July 31, 2011. Left to mourn his passing are brother Gordon (Theresa), nephew Dennis Wiebe and niece Carol (Jim) Handley. Billy was predeceased by his parents Ed and Helen Klapprat, sister Lilian (Peter) Wiebe and twin brother Arthur Klapprat. Billy was born and raised in Beausejour, MB. He was first employed at the Julius Mosspur Plant. In 1970, he started working at AECL in Pinawa where he later retired. Billy was a very honest and hard-working person. After retirement Billy went on many bus trips across Canada and the U.S.A. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 5 at 1:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour. Interment will follow in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dennis Wiebe, Harold Ott, Wilbert Klapprat, Alvin Klapprat, Andy Klapprat and Louis Germaine. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Billy's memory to a charity of one's choice.
