EDNA MAE KOVICH (nee LAROCQUE) Peacefully on July 31, 2011 mom left this world to be with family that have gone before. Mom was born October 26, 1936 in St. Boniface, Manitoba. She was one of 12 children born to Joseph and Marie Larocque. Mom was a simple lady. She did not need materialistic things to make her happy. She was happy just to be with family and friends, talking about the old days and laughing about silly things that happened in the past. Mom met her husband Bill, they went on to have six children. Mom lived in Fisher Branch, Hudgson and surrounding area before moving to Selkirk. She worked at the Electracknet Factory and Riverboat Restaurant for 19 years. In 1991 mom moved to Winnipeg until her passing. Mom has left to cherish her memory her children: Sherry and Gordon (Leann, Chantal, Gordie); Dwayne and Terra (Lance, Briana, Ryerson, Darrah); Cheryl and Mark (Brandi, James, John); Grant and Tammy (Richard); Terry and Krista (Brenden, Kiersten, Raelynn); brothers Ronnie (Joanne), Fred, sister Judy and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mom was predeceased by her parents, husband Bill, daughters Dalene, Crystal, grandson Hayden, brothers Louis, Albert, Ernest, Lawrence, Alex, Dan and sister Jane. In keeping with Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will follow at a later date. May you be at peace with everything. You will have no more physical pain. You will be deeply missed and loved. Rest in Peace Mom, until we meet again.
