REGINA ZENDZIAN It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of a mother, daughter, sister, auntie and friend to many. With family at bedside, on Thursday, July 28, 2011, Regina left this world to enter into the eternal glory of heaven, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Left to cherish her memory are: her son Richard; mother Marianna; sisters, Jadwiga, Anna and Krystyna (with all of their families); brother Stanislaw (and his family); sister-in-law Claudia along with three nieces and two nephews, also great-nieces and great-nephews. Regina was predeceased by her husband Anthony and her father. Regina was born in Czajki, Poland on June 10, 1937. She was brought up with a strong faith in God. Attending church and praying were part of family life. She was educated as a seamstress for a number of years before marrying her future husband. She immigrated to Canada to be with Anthony whom she loved dearly. She worked in the garment industry and would eventually finish her work career at Luther Home. Regina enjoyed spending time with her son, and many friends. Regina also cherished private moments in prayer. She was a kind, gentle, generous person, going out of her way to do things right. Everyone that knew her respected her deeply. The family would like to thank all the priests that visited Regina for their prayers and support. Also the Sisters that visited and prayed with her. Special thanks to Dr. Terry Babick, and the Staff at Holy Family Home, St. Paul's Unit for admitting Regina, and for providing excellent care. The family would also like to thank Dr. Jerry Krcek, and Dr. Bashir Bashir, all the staff from CancerCare Manitoba and the Department of Neurosurgery at Health Sciences Centre. Prayers will be said on Thursday, August 4 at 7:00 p.m., at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 5 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Cantius' Roman Catholic Church, 846 Burrows Avenue. Interment to follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Regina's memory to Holy Family Home. Wieczny Odpoczynek Racz Jej dac Panie. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
