Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDIANNE JOAN ANDERSON Peacefully, Dianne Joan Anderson (Lunn) passed from this life on July 31, 2011 at Grace Hospital into the loving arms of Jesus Christ her Saviour. Dianne was born in Winnipeg on November 27, 1944, where she received her education in St. James. She worked for the Manitoba Telephone System and Province of Manitoba Department of Education and Finance where she retired after 24 years of service in 2005. Dianne received the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour on August 14, 1959. Dianne met the love of her life Dennis Anderson at Bethel Baptist Church in Winnipeg in 1970. They married in 1972. Dianne was an active member of the Trintarian Bible Society. She loved teaching Sunday School and had a heart for missionaries. Dianne supported missionaries in many different countries faithfully until her death. Graveside service took place at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home in Winnipeg on August 3, 2011 with Pastor Robert Carlson officiating. Elijah and Emerald Stanley sang Blessed Assurance. A celebration of Dianne's life was held at Golden Plains Baptist Church on August 3. Pastor Robert Carlson officiated the service. Susan Carlson played piano with special music provided by Emerald Stanley who sang Sheltered in the Arms of God and No More Night . Pallbearers were Elijah Stanley, Ken Lunn, Garrett and Graham MacNeill, Robin Ellison and Raymond Walmsley. She leaves to cherish her memory husband Dennis Anderson, brother Ken Lunn (Gail) of Welland, Ontario, and several friends. The family would like to thank the nurses and Dr. Cowden at Grace Hospital for their tender care and compassion given to Dianne during her illness.
