Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMOSES BILSKY ZIPMAN (ZAIDA MOE) Passed away peacefully on July 28, 2011 at 8:25 a.m. He is predeceased by his father Louis, and mother Sarah, along with his sister Essie (Sol). He leaves to mourn his lifelong partner Adeline, his ex-wife Vicki, along with thier two sons Jeff and Eric, his grandchildren Jared and Ethan, and sister Lil Cohen from Ottawa. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, and friends he made throughout his life. Zaida Moe was born in Ottawa, Ontario and spent his youth in the Canadian Air Force, then on to work with his dad who ran a candy and choclate factory called Zipmans Candy and Nut shop, Moe moved to Winnipeg in 1957 and spent the next few years working for London Life, Qualico, Rancho Realty, Manor and Greentree Holmes. He lived his life to the fullest, especially his greatest pride and joy, his family. He was an artist and calligrapher in his spare time, and if you have a charcoal sketch or painting, you knew that you were special in his life. There wasn't a joke he would not tell, or a picture he would show to you that wouldn't bring a smile to your face. He had a number of proverbs he would like to write in his special calligraphic style, and share with others. One of his favourites was, don't hold onto feelings that cause you pain. Moe was a healthy man until six weeks ago. His family was able to spend the last days with him, and the night before his passing, he had a chance to hear Vicki Knight sing. He was laid to rest at the BNAI ABHRAM cemetary by his two grandsons Jared and Ethan Zipman, Sheldon Stoller, Lorne Stoller, Danny Stoller, and Michael Stoller. May we all live to the age of 86 years. We love you forever Zaida Moe!
