RENE ALLARD It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rene, aged 57 years on Thursday, August 4, 2011. Son of Toni Allard, brother of JoAnn (Bob Turner), nephew of Garrett Turner, Sharon (Brian Dombrosky, son Curtis), father of Chantale Allard (Layne Harden), grandson Ryder Layne, and son Peter Allard. He died peacefully after a brief fight with cancer with his wife Birdie at his side in Princeton, BC. Birdie's son Mike, wife Laurie and family are also left to mourn his passing. Funeral Mass will be held in St. Francois Xavier on Thursday, September 1, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
