Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNENITA ORTIGAS 1936 - 2011 Peacefully, with family by her side, Nenita Ortigas passed away at Seven Oaks General Hospital, on August 1, 2011 at the age of 74 years. She will be deeply missed by husband Oscar; children Elenita (Romeo), Editha (Juanio) and Marilyn (Lito); grandchildren Erwin, Romelyn, Russell, Jason, Keean Ivo, Jerome, Joy and Nathaniel; siblings Arturo (Linda), Fely (Manuel), Elvie (Romy), Virgie (Del), Roberto (Alicia), Danilo, Marilou (Leonardo), Pedro Jr. (Letty), Aurora (Danny), Baby (Neil), Melda (Edwin), Linda, Solly, Nancy, as well as many nieces, nephews and a very large extended family. She was predeceased by parents Pedro and Carmen; in-laws Emeterio and Felicisima; siblings Manuel, Luz and Eddie; granddaughter Janin. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the many doctors and her Palliative Care nurses at Seven Oaks Hospital and St. Boniface Hospital who cared for Nenita during her last days. Lamay (Viewing) will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight) on Thursday and Friday, August 11 and 12, 2011 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Funeral Mass will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 13 at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin Street. Interment will follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Lawn Reception Centre. Always on our minds, forever in our hearts.
