MARY ELIZABETH YOUNG July 12, 1932 - August 2, 2011 It is with deep sorrow that our beloved wife, mother, sister, and aunt has ended her journey on this earth, on Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at the Concordia hospital. Mary Elizabeth Young was born on the island of Montserrat in 1932. She then immigrated to Trinidad, where she met and married her husband Montague Young. In 1973, she and her family immigrated to Winnipeg where she first worked at Donwood Manor Personal Care Home, then in child care services at the Stars of Promise Day Care. After 29 years of caring for the two year olds, she retired in 2002. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband Montague Young, daughter Daphne sons Patrick and Courtney, grandchildren Crystal, Deneca, and Courtney's four sons. Brothers David and Joseph, sisters Augusta, Margaret and Agnes. Brothers-in-law Hubert and wife Joyce, Byron and wife Luicille. Sisters-in-law Edith and husband Franklin and Maggie Alleyne. Also a large number of nephews, nieces and friends, too numerous to mention. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at the Henderson Highway Seventh-Day Adventist Church 1314 Henderson Hwy. at 11:00 a.m.. Interment to follow.
