Date of Passing: Jul 31, 2011
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRODNEY (ROD) LEBLEU In loving memory of Rod LeBleu, who passed away suddenly on July 31, 2011, at the age of 44. Beloved Father, Son, Uncle, Brother, and Friend. Rod loved sports. A passion he passed on to his two boys. Baseball was his early passion, until he found the serenity of golf. Any free time he had, you knew you could find him on the golf course. Born, November 26, 1966, in Steinbach, he grew up in Windsor Park and remained in the area his entire life. Rod's amazing sense of humour would take over a room. Always the one to have a good time, he could get you to laugh so hard, you would cry. Recent years, his conversations were always about his two sons. He loved them very much and never had a problem bragging about their accomplishments. He will be sadly missed by his wife Lynneah (nee Campiou), sons Devin and Kacey, parents Gladys and Gerald, brothers Rob (Karen) and Randy, and numerous relatives and friends. Special thanks to Scott Neiles. No farewell words were spoken, No time to say good-bye, You were gone before we knew it, And only God knows why. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood Rd., on Thursday, August 11, 2011, at 2:00 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Manitoba Baseball Association, 145 Pacific Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3B 2Z6. Rodney was a fun guy to be with in the late 80s. He was a few years older but still treated me good. Too bad I moved away in 1988 and never had a chance to reconnect with all my old friends. Just decided to look up names I remember and see where they are at. Was sad to hear Rod is gone. RIP Rodney you you will always be remembered by me.
