JAMES PATRICK BULLEN After a short and hard fought battle with mesothelioma asbestos cancer, Jim passed away at Ste. Anne Hospital on August 1, 2011. Jim was born in London, England on February 25, 1935. He immigrated to Canada in 1957 and, following initial jobs at C.P.R., Canada Packers, and Bristol Aerospace, he retired in 1991 after 30 years with the CBC in Winnipeg. In January, 1963 he married Doreen Edwards, formerly of Hamiota, Manitoba. He was predeceased by his parents, Jim and Mae Bullen, mother and father-in-law, Sophie and Victor Edwards, brother-in-law, Graham Eddie Edwards and sister-in-law, Gwen Bell. He is survived by his wife, Doreen, his brothers Bill (Angie) and Bert (Anne), sister-in-law Mae Edwards, and several nieces and nephews. At Jim's request, cremation will take place and there will be no service or memorial. Sincere thanks to the exceptional staff at Ste. Anne Hospital and to friends in Paradise Village who were so thoughtful and supportive during this difficult time.
