LILLIAN (LIL) STEWART 1917 - 2011 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Nana, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Auntie and friend, Mom (Lil) passed away Friday, July 29, 2011 at home. She was predeceased by her husband Hugh and son-in-law Ken. Mom leaves to mourn, her son Howard (Dianna), daughter Linda Villeneuve, three grandsons, Richard (Felicia), Grant (Reese) and Raymond, great-granddaughter Yael, sister Jean and brother Mike. Mom loved having family and friends around. She also enjoyed her Wednesdays at the Concordia Day Care, Fridays at the St. Boniface Geriatric Day Care, where she could always be found giving the staff a hard time, plus lots of laughs. Mom always looked forward to family events, like family breakfast once a month, the family golf tournament in September, Christmas Eve at Jack and Liz's. She especially looked forward to her nightly conversations with her sister Jean. The family would like to thank the Palliative and Home Care staff, especially Richard and Angie for all their care and help they gave to mom. A very big thank you to Dirk and Ruby Kenning for their help over the years. The family invites you to join them in a celebration of our mom's life on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Wheeler Funeral Chapel Reception Centre 211 Regent Avenue West.
