JOHN BUHLER Our husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, John D. Buhler, passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital, August 4, 2011, with his wife, Lena (nee Zacharias) by his side, at the age of 88 years. Besides his wife, John is survived by son Al and wife Shirley, son Norman, four grand-children, three great-grandchildren, five sisters, five brothers and their families. A celebration of John's life will be held Monday, August 8, 2011 at Winnipeg Evangelical Free Church, 500 Lagimodiere Blvd. at 10:30 a.m., with viewing prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Eigenhof Cemetery (southwest of Altona) at 3:30 p.m. Donations can be made to the Winnipeg Evangelical Free Church building fund available at the church. The family would like to thank the medical staff on 7A West at St. Boniface Hospital for the tender care and compassion given to John during his illness. Special thanks to Pastor Ron Koleba and all who participated in the service.
