HELEN TAYLOR 1928 2011 It is with great sadness that the family of Helen Taylor (nee Luy) announces her passing after a brief illness at the St. Boniface Hospital on Friday, August 5, 2011, at the age of 82 years. Helen will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Donna Lynn Pusztay (Peter) and her son Douglas John Taylor (Katherine). She will also be missed by her grandson Gregory, her sisters Frances Hamm and Doris Pataluck, as well as all of her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Helen is predeceased by her husband Norman William Taylor, who passed away on July 10, 2004. Although we are saddened by the loss of our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, we smile to think that Helen and Norm are together again. Helen was born on October 1, 1928, in Tyndall, Manitoba. She was the fifth of six children born to John and Eva Luy. A funeral service and celebration of Helen's life will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens located at 4477 Main Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba (viewing to commence at 9:30 a.m.). Interment to follow. Helen's family would like to extend sincere thanks to Helen's family physician Dr. Peter Kuegle and to all staff at both the Concordia and St. Boniface Hospitals for their care and attention to Helen in her final days.
