Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLETITIA IRENE VINCENT (nee DERRAUGH) Letitia Irene Vincent (nee Derraugh) passed away peacefully on August 7, 2011 at the age of 83 at West Park Manor Nursing Home. Tish, as she was known, was born in Winnipeg on May 16, 1928. She attended Wellington and Daniel MacIntyre Schools and worked clerically for the federal government until 1977 when she married Charles Vincent. Tish will be remembered as a wonderfully kind, generous, humble, appreciative and accepting soul who asked so little of others in life, yet so often put others needs ahead of her own. She loved her many pets and felt a bond to the cats and dogs that were in her care. Left to cherish her memory are her step-children Maureen (Roger) Bakewell, Linda (Bill) Chodyniecki, Glen (Yvonne) Vincent, sisters-in-law Alice and Beth Derraugh, nephews Milt (Scooter) McLean, Barton (Judy) McLean, Donald Derraugh, David Derraugh, Jeff (Lori) Derraugh, Mark (Sharen) Derraugh, Murray (Marg) Derraugh, Bruce (Janet) Derraugh, their children and grandchildren and Tish's good friends Olivia, Art and A.J. Harrap, and Margaret Marquis. Tish was predeceased by her husband Charles Vincent in 1996, parents Vernal and Ada Derraugh, sister Mary McLean, brothers Jack and Orville Derraugh and nephew Donald McLean. A celebration of Tish's life will be held at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard, Friday, August 12 at 10:00 a.m. Gracious thanks to the staff at West Park Manor for their loving care of Tish over the past 21 months.
