HENRY LEONARD BOBERT 1921 - 2011 On Saturday, August 6, 2011, at the age of 90, with his family by his side, Henry went to join Vi with the angels in heaven. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Terrol (Don) Rogers, grandchildren Sean, Amber and Kirk Rogers and great-grandchildren Evan and Delaney. Sister Theresa Harder, brothers-in-law Larry (Gladys) Pokrant, Elmer (Verna) Pokrant, sisters-in-law Joyce Bobert, Ruth (Don) McKenzie and Irene Pokrant. He will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and Godchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Ed Bobert, sister Nora Schroeder and brother-in-law Edwin Pokrant. Henry befriended everyone he met with his keen sense of humour, friendly nature and ready smile. He was one of the best bus drivers Winnipeg ever had and could give you a run for your money in a game of cribbage. A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 11 at 1:30 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 211 Kimberly St., with Pastor Stacy Moroz officiating.
