Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLADYS CONSTANCE SCOTT (nee KIRKMAN) Peacefully, Gladys Constance Scott passed from this life on August 8, 2011 at West Park Manor into the loving arms of Jesus Christ her Saviour. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Lorry (Alan) Webster, Peter (Rose) and Rob (Linda), her grandchildren, Timothy (Xiam), Loral (Shawn), Tony, Scott, Lily, Byron, Christine, Robyn, Ken, Nic (Suzanne) and Penny and her great-grandchildren, Xyla, Taryn, Ximon, Parker, Brodey and Larain. Glad was predeceased by the love of her life, Finlay and all of her nine brothers and sisters. Glad was born March 11, 1916 and was raised and educated in Toronto. As a young woman she worked at Parker Pen and met Fin through a work mate on a blind date. She spent most of her life as a homemaker pouring her love and her energies into providing a warm and welcoming home life for her family. In her retirement years Glad travelled with Fin to many exotic spots around the world. The family would like to thank the staff of 1East at West Park Manor for the tender and compassionate care given to Glad during her stay there. According to Glad's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life service will be held at West Park Manor on Monday, August 15, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
