WILLIAM JAMES WARD On July 23, 2011, William James Ward (Bill) of Rosser passed away in Stonewall Health Center. Bill was predeceased by his wife Bette in 2004. Born in Stonewall to James and Caroline, Bill had two brothers, John and Ted (both deceased); Ted's wife Donna lives in Stonewall. Bill also had three sisters, Elsie and Peggy Sheldon (both deceased), and Helen Croy, who also lives in Stonewall with her husband Tom. Bill and Bette had one daughter, Terry (Winnipeg), and four sons, Laurie, John and Kevin (Kenora) and Kelly (Toronto). Bill's career as an engineer kept him busy until retirement when he and Mom purchased an 1/4 section in Rosser to farm in 1973. As per his wishes, there will be no funeral. Many thanks to the caring staff at Stonewall Health Center for looking after Dad during his stay there. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the District Health Centre.
