NETTIE ZARICHANSKI (nee SIDORKO) August 14, 1918 - August 10, 2011 It is with heavy hearts we announce that on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 with her family by her side, Nettie passed away peacefully at the Beausejour Hospital. Left to forever cherish Nettie's memory are her two sons Harry (Gail), Roy (Wendy); daughter-in-law (Laureen); grandchildren Sean (Jana) Melissa (Eric), Warren (Jo-Anne); great- granddaughter Emma; brother Nick (Ruby) from Lacombe Alberta, as well as by many nieces; nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband Peter (1982); sons William (Bill) 2006 and Phillip (Nick) 2010. Mom was born and raised in Elma, MB. She married Peter in 1939 and raised four sons on the farm. She spent most of her life farming, gardening, baking and making perogies. In 1991 she moved to Beausejour and lived in Armstrong Manor where she made many new friends, one very special one (Sophie Shendroski). Together they walked back and forth to town shopping and going for lunch, often their friend Billy joined them. Nettie enjoyed Bingo and playing Uno. As time went on due to failing health, Nettie had to move to East-Gate Manor where she also made many new friends. She stayed very active in all the activities and outings at East-Gate. Divine Liturgy will be Celebrated on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Exaltation of the Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church, Elma, MB with Rev. Fr. Mark Gnutel, presiding. Interment will follow in Stoney Hill Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Elma, MB. The Family would like to thank the wonderful staff at East-Gate Lodge for all the care and compassion they gave to Mom; as well as a thank you to Dr. Vanrensburg and staff at Beausejour Hospital for taking very good care of our Mom. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nettie's memory may be made to the East-Gate Lodge Personal Care Home, Recreation Department, Box 1690, Beausejour, MB R0E 0C0. Mom was very loved by her family and will be sadly missed and never forgotten. VICHNAYA PAM YAT
