JAMES DAVID HAMILTON MCLEOD Jim died August 6, 2011, at the age of 61 at his home in Strathclair. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Alma McLeod. He will be fondly remembered by his sister, Carla Jane McLeod, his niece, Jane McLeod, and her husband, Marc Pinchin, his great-niece and nephew, Ruby and James Pinchin, his aunts, many cousins and his kids , Sandy, Sissy and Buddy. He was born August 5, 1950 in Winnipeg. He started travelling across Canada with the Royal American Shows during summers when he was still in school and continued with the carnival year round for several years when he left school. He then became a long distance truck driver, a profession he continued with until poor health forced him to retire early a few years ago. He lived in Strathclair for most of his adult life, and will be missed by his friends there. There will be an informal gathering in his memory at 15 Leveque St. at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 20, 2011. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brandon Humane Society, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
