ALLEN BAERR July 13, 1931 - August 10, 2011 After a brief illness, Allen Baerr passed away at home on August 10, 2011, with his wife by his side. He leaves everlasting memories for his wife of 51 years Joyce, his children and grandchildren; Kimberly (Fred), Joshua and Jonathan; Blake (Debbie) and Courtney; Anthony (Tina), James and Alex; Wendy; Heather (Scott), Holly (Adam) and Thomas. He is survived by his sisters Mamie of BC, and Sylvia of Yorkton. He is reunited with his parents and the rest of his brother and sisters. After 40 years of driving the train, dad retired from C.N. Rail, June 7, 1996, to begin a new chapter in his life as King of the TV remote control, and seeing his grandchildren grow into adulthood. As per Dad's wishes he wanted no funeral service, and cremation has taken place. A Letter for my Daddy A special train has come to town today and they took my dad away, once more he rides the C.N. rails with no suffering and no more pain. I know that when my life is over and the train comes to get me, I'll recognize that handsome distinguishing engineer, it will be my daddy coming to take me. So daddy till then, when you see me stopped at the railway track, give er gears and just let her blow, that's the sigh that tells me you made it safely home. So if you close your eyes and listen you can hear the engine and a soft whistle blow, Well... that's my dad on that train and it's taking him all the way home. You will always be in our hearts
