RICHARD (GUS) GOSSELIN December 9, 1953 August 6, 2011 Richard passed away peacefully after a brief fight with cancer at the Health Sciences Centre on August 6, 2011, with his wife by his side. Left to forever cherish Richard's memory is his beloved wife Lorraine (née Gay), sons Vincent and Stéphane and daughter Jacqueline, brothers Wilfrid (Jeanne), David (Agnes) and sister Irène (Rick), his brothers-in-law Gérald, Marcien (Grace), Adrien (Louise) and Mario (Candice), his sisters-in-law Evelyne, Francine and Jeannette (Lindsay), as well as many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends and co-workers. He was predeceased by his parents, Gustave and Marie Gosselin, his parents-in-law René and Elaine Gay, his sister-in-law Tracy Gay (née Catellier), and brother-in-law Bernard Gay. A celebration of Richard's life will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at his brother-in-law's place in Carlowrie, MB. For more details, please contact any member of the immediate family. Richard loved life and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He always had a joke or two to share. His passion was hunting in the Badger and Woodridge area. A special thank you to Heidi, Charlene and Jennifer, all the doctors, nurses and staff at the Health Sciences Centre, in particular, Ward GD-2, and many others too numerous to mention who provided quality care and compassion to Richard.
