Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT GLENN CRUMMEY Peacefully, on August 11, 2011, Robert Crummey passed away at the Grace General Hospital due to complications of pancreatic cancer at the age of 57 years. He is survived by his parents, Donald and Muriel Crummey of Sidney, BC; sisters, Catherine Quanstrom (Gary Quanstrom) and Jacqueline Crummey-Severyn (Rob Severyn); and nephews, Owen Quanstrom, Zachary Crummey-Severyn and Joshua Crummey-Severyn. A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Bardal Funeral Home. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Grace General Hospital, especially Dr. Harris, Dr. Borrett, Allison Lynch-Dayton and the fifth floor nursing staff for their professionalism and gentle care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Siloam Mission, 300 Princess Street, Winnipeg, MB R3B 1M3 or siloam.ca. I will make this sweet and short. Rob was my best friend while I was a resident of Siloam Mission, I am sorry I was not able to say goodbye however it warms my heart knowing that he had family close by in his last days. I will always remember our times at The Forks (Winnipeg) and our times playing Scrabble. Thank you for everything, keeping me warm with your jersey jacket (the one with a basketball on the back).
