RONALD ALAIN LE GRAS Suddenly and peacefully Ron passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at the age of 49 years. Ron was born in Winnipeg on April 15, 1962 and is survived by his parents Fernand Le Gras and Colette Baudry, his sister Lynne and her spouse Jacques, and their three children, Chantale, Kathrine and Eric, and his brother Guy, his spouse Doris and their three children, Danielle, Nicole and Joelle. Ron was known and liked by all for his gentle and kind disposition, his sense of humour, intellectual curiosity, and his love of family. He also had a passion for sports, a love of words, puzzles and facts, and liked to listen to music. Ron graduated from le Collège Secondaire de Saint Boniface in 1980, and obtained his Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree with a major in accounting from the University of Manitoba in 1988. Ron appreciated many of the simple things in life such as good food and desserts, reading, and watching his favourite sports teams. Ron also loved playing sports when he was younger and won several awards playing badminton during high school. He was also a very good tennis and hockey player. Ron was happiest when he was with his family and friends. His nieces and nephew also held a very special place in his heart. He enjoyed talking and listening to them and following up on their lives as they grew up. We also wish to thank everyone who befriended and helped Ron over the years. Your kindness, sense of compassion and support is sincerely appreciated by the family. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. 982-7550. Reception to follow. On t'aime Ronald!
