Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETER GEIB April 6, 1933 - August 13, 2011 Peacefully on August 13, 2011, Peter Geib passed away at the Victoria Hospital, at the age of 78 years. Peter is predeceased by his parents, parents-in-law and his beloved son, Christopher, in 2010. He is survived by his wife and friend of 25 years, Josephine Geib; his extended family (Bender-Sweeney); cousin, Crawford Jack and Family; Stefie Bednarczyk and family, also his friend and travel companion, E. Ruby, and many friends. Peter was born in Morden Manitoba, and moved to Winnipeg at the age of nine years with his parents. For 42 years he worked for Winnipeg Hydro. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday August 18, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 355 Andrew's Street. Reverend Father Kevin Smith will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peter's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3L 9Z9.
