Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUDY PETRASKO Rudy Petrasko aged 79 passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 14, 2011, at the Middle Church Home. Rudy was predeceased by his loving wife Lorraine (nee Skiba) of 52 years, biological mother Caroline Petrasko (nee Zaretski), parents John and Frances Petrasko, one brother and two sisters. Rudy leaves to mourn three brothers and five sisters along with their families. Rudy was born on February 16, 1932, in Pineridge, Manitoba, where he grew up helping out with the family farm. In 1954, he married Lorraine, and together they operated a landscaping, and later, a successful market garden business. In his retirement Rudy enjoyed playing bingo and could be seen regularly at Club Regent. Rudy loved to have friends over to share a story and a drink. Thanks to all the staff at the Middle Church Home for their kindness and care. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Avenue West. Cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society 193 Sherbrook Street Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7. VICHNAYA PAMYAT.
