CHERYL GARRAWAY (nee EINARSON) After an extremely quick battle with pancreatic cancer, at age 54, Cheryl Garraway passed away August 14, 2011 with her family by her side at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Cheryl was born December 11, 1956 in Gimli, Manitoba, and spent her childhood growing up on her parents' farm in Hnausa, Manitoba. Cheryl was predeceased by her mother (Gudrun Einarson), and leaves behind her daughters (Kerrie and Kristen), her father (Einar Einarson), and will be greatly missed by her many friends and family members. In her spare time, Cheryl loved going to the cabin at Gull Lake, spending time with her friends and family, and travelling. Cheryl devoted her life to raising her daughters, and fully provided them with the great opportunities they received to become the independent, caring and strong young women she had always strived for. Cheryl took great pride in her job as a receptionist at Eastside Heavy Truck Collision where she worked for the past 10 years. Special thanks to Aunty Heather Einarson for being Cheryl's guardian angel. Her generosity, love and compassion helped get the family through this tough journey. Cheryl will be missed by many, but Heaven got a beautiful angel and will have never been so clean, or taste so good now that she is there. At Cheryl's request, no service will be held. A celebration of Cheryl's life will occur at 249 Thompson Drive, Winnipeg, Manitoba on August 21, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A private ceremony for close friends and family will be at a later date.
